The Bright Ideas Grants Round 1 for 2026-2027 are now open.
Charlies Foundation for Research invites researchers and clinicians at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals who have an idea for a project or area of research they wish to explore to apply for this $10,000 grant.
big impact starts with a bright idea. These seed-funding grants support bold, early-stage ideas that have the potential to transform care. They're designed to help researchers test a concept, gather pilot data or take the first step toward something bigger.
Applications for the Bright Ideas Grants are now open. Please review the Assessment Criteria and Program Eligibility and email your completed application to scgh.researchgrants@health.wa.gov.au. Applications close, 5pm, Wednesday 22nd July.
