Discovery Grant Applications Now Open
The Charlies Foundation for Research Mid-Range Grants Awards are now open!
Charlies Foundation for Research is pleased to invite applications for the 2026 Mid-Range Research Grant Program, supporting innovative discovery research across the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group.
Our Mid-Range Research Grants are designed to help researchers explore new ideas, generate preliminary evidence and advance projects that have the potential to improve patient care and health outcomes for Western Australians.
Applications now open for:
🌟 Mid-Range Research Grants – Discovery research grants of up to $30,000.
🌟 Ray Florence Shaw Trust Grants – Funding of up to $30,000 for one cardiovascular research project and one ophthalmology research project to be undertaken within the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group.
🌟Bob Johnson & Jenny Llanos Respiratory Grants – Two grants of up to $30,000 awarded to the highest-scoring applications in respiratory medicine.
Please review the Assessment Criteria and Program Eligibility and email your completed application to scgh.researchgrants@health.wa.gov.au.
