On the 19th of March an event was held to celebrate the new patient passenger buggy at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH).
Charlies Foundation of Research is delighted to proudly sponsor and gift the donation of the buggy to make the lives of patients easier. Osborne Park Hospital is a large complex and sees many pregnant patients and patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries for whom the use of this buggy is a huge assistance to access the hospital facilities.
OPH Site Director Renee de Prazer expressed her gratitude to our Foundation and CEO
Vicki Rasmussen for the support.
"The Buggy will greatly provide support during the expansion works and allow patients to be directly transported to their required hospital destinations
Renee thanked all teams involved in making the buggy service happen.
The buggy service forms part of our overall purpose of providing excellent and compassionate care."
$27,000 from The Foundation was donated towards the buggy at the end of last year, all made possible thanks to the support of our generous donors.
